For literacy, we learned about Waharoas. A Waharoa is a gateway that welcomes people to the place. This is my Waharoa pic collage.

In Maths this week we have been learning about measurement.

We had a sheet of paper that had 50g, 100g and 200g. I would have to get a can, marbles or even salt! And then I would have to guess how heavy it was and then I would weigh it hoping that it was either 50g, 100g or 200g. I worked with Everly and Aria.

We Have been practicing our ea words.

As I placed my hands on the glowing keys of the keyboard, they were as bright as a glowstick. Suddenly a surge of energy kicked into me. My fingers began to type so fast that I could not see what I was doing! I had no control of what I was typing so I decided to let my fingers work there magic. Then they finished typing their sentence. “This keyboard was made for you” I read.

Elizabeth stepped slowly into the tennis court. Her hands were sweating nervously as everybody stared at her. She looked at the other player and her heart started beating so fast that she almost fainted! In panic she ran out of the court and sat down where nobody could see her. Suddenly, the sun started flashing before her eyes! All was dark, but then multiple galaxy colours started stirring up around her. She saw a whirlpool starting to form on the wall and a hand came out, signaling to take their hand! “It’s all a dream” She told herself. She grabbed the hand and pulled her in. “Ozzy!” She yelled in surprise. Ozzy has been her best friend since she was 2 months old, but then he went missing! “What is this place?”  Elizabeth asked, looking around, it was beautiful! They were surrounded by a bunch of beautiful trees and flowers. They walked through the forest to see CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW!!! The pirate from one of her favorite movies, Pirates Of The Caribbean, who was staring at them in confusion. “Time to go!” said Ozzy. The whirlpool came back again. “That was Jack Sparrow!” Elizabeth said scared. They stepped into the whirlpool to see………

Edgar Henry Miller is my great, great grandad. He was in world war 2 and was caught and taken back to Germany. The one who was feeding the prisoners was my Great, Great Grandmother. This is some information.

In the beautiful Amazon, I step slowly into the scorching oven. My skin is sweaty and clammy. The long blanket of moisture sat atop of the fascinating tall trees, that were as tall as a skyscraper but as thin as a normal tree. It kind of looks like a Giant’s pencil! As I walk further into the forest the deep brown earth stains my shoes. The colourful patterned Snakes slither among the wonderful brilliant bright green canopy shaped leaves.

The peaceful grey dolphins swim amongst the colourful reef filled with tropical fish. The sun shines in the graceful turtles eyes. The sandy flour is covered in spiky starfish. As peaceful as the dolphins look, they really are chompers in the disguises of a dolphin. He makes a shot at eating the tropical fish, but fails. Then he was caught.

Screams of laughter filled the air, just watching the children loop around the roller coaster would make you sick. The GIGANTIC 4 story building towered over all the others. The relaxing spa and sauna rooms look over the brilliant colourful lake. The wonderful old willow tree was 112 years old. The lights are so bright in the amusement park that the cops have to stand by to make sure that the people don’t faint. This is an AMAZING amusement park.
